Aquamarine
The Aquamarine has historically been known for being Scorpio's stone and the birthstone of March, while supplying the owner with forethought, bravery, and joy. Legend has it that the seafoam-green Aquamarine safeguards all those sojourners who journey via its lovely waves. But the wearer of these amazing stones looks stunning with the Aquamarine’s luminous light-bearing properties that shimmer like ripples through an ocean-toned blue wave. Let our Aquamarine Dangle Earrings sweep your spirit away to a tranquil destination!
History of Aquamarine
The name, "Aquamarine" comes from the Latin aqua marinus, meaning "water of the sea," and refers to its gleaming ocean-like color. Its color, sometimes bluish green, is caused by iron oxides within the chemical & molecular structure of the stone, and it is a member of the Beryl family. The Beryl family has many other stone colors and is found in many other forms such as green Emerald, yellow Heliodor, Golden Beryl, pink Morganite, Red Beryl or Bixbite, and the colorless variety, Goshenite.
Closely associated with the Throat chakra, Aquamarine is believed to assist one in overcoming the fear of speaking, expression, or in using one's voice. Many believe the aquamarine's energy calms and helps to relax speakers by increasing their awareness of their own feelings, knowledge, and identity. Many actors love it because many think it allows the flow of truth, wisdom and pure emotion and the ability to articulate them with clarity and conviction, which is essential in performance.
