Artist Statement "Vessels of Life"
Vessels are essential to our everything, containing vital cargos of importance throughout nature and life. Therefore, vessels are a simple symbol of the human experience. Our very bodies are vessels which inhabit our souls. Continuously evolving, the soul, in its vessel, is transformed on its constant journey to the Summit. We begin our life journey in the vessel of our mother's womb and then we are catapulted into experiences that transform us along our way. And even though the journey can be frightening, we are safe and protected. We live our lives in vessels, travel in vessels, and are laid to rest in our vessel. Our soul then begins a new journey free of the vessel.
